neighborhood. we're told no arrests were made last night. sherman park reopen about an hour ago after being shut down last night by the milwaukee county sheriff's office at six o'clock. a city wide curfew for minors was also in effect at ten for a second straight night. officials say both those measures are helping keep the peace. over the weekend...eight businesses were damaged by fire... as business owners consider rebuilding...federal authorities are investigating...offering a reward for information leading involved in the arson deandra corinthios is live at sherman and burleigh with more. it was a quiet night in the sherman park neighborhood...but what remains of this burned up gas station is a reminder of the unrest over the weekend. the a-t-f is offering a 10-thousand dollar reward leading to information that leads to arrests and convictions...

of eight commercial fires that were set. besides the b-p station...those include an o-reilly auto parts store, a bmo harris bank, a beauty supply store, a supermarket and three liquor stores. three of those fires are near the intersections of 35th, fond du lac, and burleigh. the feds say the are working with the milwaukee fire department, and the state department of justice among other agencies. the owner of the b-p gas station that was torched on saturday night... may not rebuild at the corner of the sherman and burleigh. there had been tensions earlier in the month but this weekend's unrest made the situation much worse. t his attorney says his client now fears for hs vincent bobot/attorney "he thought he was part of the neighborhood. now that's been taken away from him." vincent bobot/attorney ""they are going to have a decision to make. does he rebuild the location at the existing location and what does that mean for the future of his business." back out here live we can tell you there has been some law enforcement presence overnight but not to the same level as over the last few days. overall no issues tuesday into

park neighborhood dc fox6 news. city leaders in milwaukee are working on a long-term plan to keep the peace in the sherman park neighborhood. at a ceremony yesterday for local workers with the northwestern mutual tower... mayor tom barrett described this weekend's violence as the most difficult time he's experienced as mayor. he says he's committed to bringing more work to families in the barrett says: "because i want this city to grow, i want this city to be safe, and i want us to close the gap, the income, inequality gap that exists." yesterday morning at city hall... milwaukee police chief ed flynn met with common council members behind closed doors to brief them on the latest information. and the milwaukee black panthers also

ashanti hamilton to talk about the situation. all of the violence on milwaukee's north side was sparked over the weekend after a fatal officer involved shooting. this morning -- we're learning more about the police officer who fired the shots killing sylville smith last saturday. coming up at 7-30 --- fox 6 investigator bryan polcyn has a look at what the officer posted on social media before the incident. you'll find continuing coverage on the unrest in milwaukee online at fox6 now dot com and the fox6 news app. there's a link on ourh happening right now --- milwaukee police are searching for the driver who hit a pedestrian last night --- leaving the victim to die. this all happened yesterday just after seven near fond du lac and oak street. police say a 28-year-old woman was hit when running across the street. she later died. police say the driver ditched the vehicle a couple blocks away from the scene. if you have any info --- call police. happening overnight --two people

it happened around one this morning near 35th and capitol. police say their injuries are not serious...but both cars look really damaged. the crash is under investigation. milwaukee police are investigating a shooting. officers say a 22-year-old was shot while in his car near richards and center around nine last night. we're told the victim was shot multiple times....and is now recovering at the hospital. looking ahead --- one of the four men charged in connection with a expected in court today. 18-year-old jeremiah flowers is charged with armed robbery with use of force as party to a crime. his preliminary hearing is scheduled for later this morning. police say he along with three others shot and killed 32-year-old rebecca wood last month. according to a criminal complaint, 21-year-old deanthony bradley pointed a gun at her head with his finger on the trigger. bradley told police when the victim tried to drive away the gun went off-- killing her.

campaign back on track by making some big changes overnight. the announcement came after his stop here in milwaukee. angelica is in the newsroom with details. the trump campaign doesn't like the term shake-up -- but that's what this appears to be happening this morning. no one has been fired... but he now has a new campaign manager and a new chief executive. yesterday -- trump made stops around the milwaukee area. several times during his speech last night, trump referenced the recent violence saying "right here in milwaukee" -- even though he was speaking to trump calls himself the law and order candidate saying hillary clinton is anti-police. donald trump/r presidential candidate "hillary clinton is against the miners. she's against the police. believe me. you know it and i know it, and guess what? she knows it. those pedaling the narrative of cops as a racist force in our society - a

directly in the responsibility for the unrest in milwaukee and many other places within our country." trump was more than an hour and a half late for last nights campaign stop in west bend. it grew very warm inside the expo center, but still around three thousand people stayed for the speech. . meantime, today trump is preparing intelligence briefing conducted at an f-b-i office in new york. congress has received a report from the f-b-i explaining why the agency recommended no charges against hillary clinton after the investigation into her personal email server.. the report cannot be shared with the public - but according to u-s officials.. it includes notes from interviews with the democratic presidential nominee and other witnesses. the clinton campaign released a

should make them public. meantime, during a campaign event in philadelphia yesterday clinton encouraged people to get out and vote. keeps rising. the state's governor says some parishes with flood damage have been placed under curfew because of scattered reports of looting. at least 40-thousand homes have been damaged and 11 people have been killed in the baton rouge area. the coast guard and other first responders scrambled to rescue more than 20-thousand people and about one thousand pets. this is a live look at a fast-moving wildfire in san bernardino, california. right now flames are shooting around eighty feet into te forcing more than 82-thousand families to evacuate. california governor jerry brown has declared a state of emergency for the area. two firefighters suffered minor injuries battling the blaze that started yesterday. more than 34-thousand homes are threatened by the growing flames. drought-stricken california has been hit with waves of wildfires this summer, fueled by dry conditions, heat and dead brush. and a colorado firefighter captured this incredible picture of a fire tornado near walden, colorado.

we're learning more about the milwaukee police officer who fired the fatal shots at sylville smith on saturday. the officer comes from the very neighborhoods he patrols. fox 6 investigator bryan polcyn has more on the officer's background... including some surprising tweets and hi "got some workers on the payday. never trip what they say..." this is the milwaukee police officer who shot sylville smith... in a rap video posted on youtube long before the shooting, he makes reference to civil unrest over police use of force. "i'm gonna start a riot like it's baltimore."fox 6 news is aware of the officer's identity, but we are choosing not to name him at this time, because the investigation is ongoing and he has not been accused of any wrongdoing. the 24-year-old officer hails from

he was first appointed a police aide in 2010... then promoted to probationary officer in 2013... a period that was extended for 97 days in 2014. around that same time, he tweeted about getting wasted, blowing money at strip clubs and casinos. and in one ominous tweet, he wrote, karma comes quicker for a racial slur on the other side of the gun.three years later, he shot and killed 23-year-old once attended the same high school as him. "i'm all about my dollar, in god we trust..." in october of 2013, he wrote "how long does this drug called fame be lasting?" it appears he's about to find out... but for a reason he never expected. the officer's twitter account hadn't been used since 2014, but remained accessible until tuesday. a search for the account now shows it does not exists. bryan polcyn, fox 6 investigators. milwaukee police would not confirm or deny the officer we
